Honeypot Lane and Winchester Road - traffic scheme
What is this about?
Harrow Council is given money by Transport for London to investigate and treat accidents on our roads. We target this funding at locations where the recorded accidents could be reduced, or made less serious, by making changes to the road.
From our look at the police's records, we have found that there is a 'cluster' of right-turning accidents at the junction of the service road near Winchester Road. Local people have also told us that traffic often 'rat-runs' through the service road and other local residential roads, sometimes dangerously or at high speed.
