Harrow Housewarmers

The Harrow Housewarmers is a grant funded project that aims to help isolated and vulnerable people living in cold homes.

Many of Harrow's most isolated and vulnerable will benefit from this project this winter. They include vulnerable older people suffering from pre-existing cardiovascular or respiratory illnesses and other chronic medical conditions, people with severe mental illness, dementia, arthritis, limited mobility, families with young children, the homeless   and the fuel poor.

Help will be offered to vulnerable people to support them with free loft and cavity wall insulation and information and advice on fuel debt, tariff switching and benefits. People may also be offered volunteer community support including the provision of hot meals to rough sleepers via the local winter shelter.
