When: Saturday 17th March, 11am to 5pmHarrow Food and Dance Festival

Where: Station Road and St Ann's Road, Harrow Town Centre

Get yourself down to Harrow Town Centre and sample a tantalising range of world cuisine alongside six straight hours of dance and music. St Ann's Road will be a haven for food lovers, with a farmers market and continental food stalls, street food and a demonstration kitchen. Organisers are inviting local restaurants, cafes and food producers to take part or organise promotions in their own premises on the day.

Around the corner in St John's Road, broadcaster and comedienne London Hughes will compere an outstanding line up of 19 professional and community acts on an open air dance stage. To celebrate St Patrick's Day, Irish dancers will both kick off the show at 11am and bring the curtain down after six hours of continuous free entertainment at 5pm.

Further information, including a full programme of events on the day, will be provided here in the coming weeks.

The inaugural event is devised and delivered by Harrow Council in its ongoing programme to revitalise Harrow Town Centre and promote business. It is funded by a grant the Council secured from the Mayor of London's Outer London Fund.
