Headstone Manor is a Grade I listed building. Built in c.1310, it is situated on a private island surrounded by a moat. It is the oldest timber framed residence in Middlesex, and one of the few surviving moated manor houses in the whole of England. Once owned by the Archbishops of Canterbury and Henry VIII, highlights of Headstone Manor include its 14th century moat, medieval great hall, and spooky Tudor kitchens.
There is no need to book your place for a tour, just drop in to the Tithe Barn at 3pm and a member of staff will let you know when the tour is about to leave.
